Malcolm Little, born May 19th 1925 in Omaha Nebraska being the fourth of seven children. his mom, Louise Helen and father, Earl Little were both baptist speakers and local leader of the "Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA)". Because of the KKK's threats towards Earl and his family his activities in "UNIA" were spreading trouble and the family relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin 1926 one year after the birth of Malcolm Little. they then moved again in 1929 to Lansing Michigan but had there house burned down by a white protestant group called "The Black Legion".
When Malcolm was 6 his father was killed in what was called ruled an accidental street car collision though Malcolm's mom had believed he was murdered by the Black Legion members. In 1937, a man Louise had been dating for a while suddenly went missing when she was pregnant with his child causing her to have a nervous break down and was incarcerated at Kalamazoo State Hospital under the title of "Mental" after this her kids were placed in to foster homes. Malcolm and her children secured the release of her 24 years later.
Malcolm excelled in Junior High but dropped out after a white teacher told him that practicing law, his dream profession at the time, was "no place for a nigger".
From age 14-21 he had a variety of jobs such as helping farm with his half sister later moving to New York City's, Harlem in 1943 where he engaged in drug dealing, gambling, racketeering, theft & pimping. This lead Malcolm to a life of desperation and despair. In late 1945, Little returned to Boston where he and friends committed a series of crimes targeting wealthy white families. in 1946 he was arrested while picking up a repaired watch he stole. He immediately began serving an 8-10 year sentence at Charles-town state Prison.
